Hundreds of Seniors and Veterans Attend 10th Annual Resource Fair

Forest Park, Ill. – Roughly 250 seniors and veterans attended Speaker Emanuel “Chris” Welch’s 10th Annual Resource Fair in Forest Park this past weekend.

“It was such a pleasure to see so many members of the community at the Senior and Veteran Resource Fair this past Saturday,” said Speaker Welch. “I was grateful to get the chance to sit down and discuss their priorities for our community, while also providing those in attendance with necessary resources.”

Volunteers handed out 200 bags of fresh produce and fruit donated by Mariano’s and fulfilled by Kroger delivery, Walgreens administered 26 COVID-19 boosters and 28 flu vaccines, and nearly 50 attendees received free assistance with wills and estate plans.
